When a chatbot goes down and thousands feel genuinely helpless, it's worth asking what we've outsourced — not just tasks, but thought itself. The Catechism warns that science and technology must be 'at the service of the human person' (CCC 2293); the moment our tools become our foundation, the outage isn't technical — it's spiritual.
